Solo and Ensemble Night 2025

An annual highlight is the Solo and Ensemble night, where some of our youngest and also our more experienced Hyde Street Youth Band players show fellow band members what they’ve been working on.

It’s also part of our preparation for the Victorian Bands’ League annual State Solo and Ensemble competition. Congratulations in particular to Jimmy, Lucia, Peter & Charlie as they prepare for their very first competition and to some our our newest Brass Class members in their first public performance. And thanks to Patrick Lawrence, accompanist extraordinaire who works so hard on so many pieces. And to Phillipa Edwards for providing such helpful feedback.
