World Migratory Bird Day 2025

Hyde Street Youth Band had a wonderful time celebrating World Migratory Bird Day at the Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre on the 11th of October. The day was off to a brassy start with our ensemble playing popular tunes helping visitors connect, relax, and enjoy the natural setting. It turns out ‘Birdland’ was a great success! Eupho player Jordan said how much he enjoyed playing as we had a well-equipped group of players that was spread out over all the sections of the band, covering all the instruments that make up a full brass band.
