Brass Bands have evolved over the last 150 years to use the following instruments:
Trombone
Euphonium
Baritone Horn
Tuba
Cornet
Tenor Horn
Flugel Horn
Percussion
It may be surprising to learn that trumpets and French horns are not used in brass bands however the cornet is very closely related to the trumpet, with skills being easily interchanged between these instruments.
