Grand Final Parade 2024 and ABC Melbourne Interview

Hyde Street Youth Band was again privileged to play in the Grand Final Parade in 2024, this time leading the players of the Brisbane Lions! Thanks to the AFL and Parade organisers for the event, the young players from country Victoria that the Hyde Street players welcomed, our Drum Major Liam Heatherich and Sean Lambert for arranging the score.

Another very exciting part of the Grand Final Parade day was when some members of Hyde Street Youth Band played live on ABC Melbourne with Raf!
PJ, one of our cornet players, explained the joy and ins and outs of banding, and played footy themes with Tom, James, Atticus, Imogen, Nick, Will, George, Stuart and Victoria. Thanks for representing Hyde Street and playing so well!
